it’s so strange to me that two years ago i thought i couldn’t live without certain people.
my happiness depended solely on their company and our friendship.
now, two years later, we’re still friends of course, but it’s been two weeks since i’ve talked to any of them and i haven’t even really noticed. a feat that wasn’t doable two years ago.
i don’t need their friendship or constant communication to be happy.
what happened? what changed? did i grow up? did i mature? did they change?
